Today I am thirty weeks pregnant. Thirty. Um, excuse me, but didn't I just find out I was pregnant, like, a day ago? I am in serious panic mode. We have done nothing--nothing!-- to prepare for this baby. We don't have a carseat or a place for her to sleep or anything.
Oh sure, we've been house hunting like crazy and meeting with an architect and a builder and it looks like we will be adding on this summer, but will that be done with the baby is born? Um, no.
I cannot believe how quickly this pregnancy has flown by. The end of August will be here before I know it. I sure hope we're ready by then.

Ooooo - as former arch intern, let me just pat you on the back for getting an architect involved.
Good for you. You need someone else to hand the sub-contractors, and you'll end up with a better product in the end.
HANDLE the sub-contractors. Bah.
The story goes like this: you take your first born to the zoo. You explain about zoos, you go to each animal stall, talk about the habitat, the animals there, the zookeeper's job, etc.
Your second one is born. You take him/her to the zoo. You show all the animals. You talk about the habitat, the animals there, etc.
Your third one is born. You take him/her to the zoo. You walk to each stall and show the animals.
Your fourth is born. You take him/her to the zoo and wave your hand to take in the whole thing and you say -- zoo.
Tommy is 3 weeks old and his room is still not finished. It's painted, has a crib and a dresser (at least the essentials are there). I'd like to hang something on his walls someday.
