I was up in the attic sorting clothes for the kids and so, while I was up there, I dragged the Halloween decorations down. It's only October 3. I feel like it's too early to have them up, but I must confess I enjoy the soft glow of the strand of orange lights in the dining room. So, is it too early?

Not too early! Four weeks of lights is a bare minimum! (Unless you leave them up until Thanksgiving?)
Thanks for the affirmation, Nina. As soon as I finished putting everything up (not much) my neighbor started putting her stuff out too. At least now I'm not alone, and I'm enjoying the decorations.
And no, everything comes down the Monday after Halloween. As much as I love everything now is as much as I'll hate everything once the holiday has passed.
