Web Browsers

I switched web browsers a year or more ago per the advice of Quantum Void, and have never looked back; Mozilla Firefox has just been that much better than Explorer.

Now my neighbor, a huge Apple guy, insists that I try out Safari and is adamant that I will love it and never want for another browser (until, of course, something greater is created).

So, I'm going to give it a whirl; a test drive if you will. What will I think of it? Any input?

I thought you had to have a Mac to use Safari? Guess not! I used Firefox for quite a long time and a year or so ago started having some trouble with it, and at the same time heard that IE had surpassed it, so I switched BACK, and have been perfectly satisfied (IE seems to me to have all the features of Firefox - tabs, etc - but I'll let QV tell me how wrong I am).

My Mac friends use it. I'm a Firefox fan. If you switch, please let us know how you think it compares.

I have always used Safari because I have two macs and I like it wayyyy better than explorer. Then I started using Firefox and have really liked it. I like what Firefox offers a whole lot more than Safari, but lately I've been having problems with Firefox since I upgraded so I'm probably going to go back to Safari. I tried out Camino, which is Firefox just for mac users but there is a lot of tweaking that needs to be done before I use it all the time. As far as Safari, I thought, too, that it was just for macs? Maybe it started out being so and now has a PC version. There's pluses and minuses to all browsers. Let us know what you choose! :)

I used to use Safari, but switched to Firefox and I love it. Since I am on a mac, for a while people weren't writing for Safari users so Firefox was much more user friendly.

Good luck with your switch!
