First Day of School

Yesterday we started school and despite one crabby six-year-old and one ten day old baby who hit the first day of a growth spurt and wanted to nurse every five seconds, it actually went pretty well. The kids seem happy to be back in a routine and interested in what they were learning. I'm sure things will change in the next few weeks, but it was a decent start to the school year.

My fourth grader!

My first/second grader!

The whole gang.

Incredible. Fourth grade ... Well, let's hope and pray Madeleine studies hard so she passes into fifth grade. Where does Hank fit into the home schooling routine? First, second ... 12th grade? Elisabeth, of course, is taking the maple sugar course at the Audubon and it is a start.

I can't even imagine how you are going to pull this off, but have every confidence that you will.

I think we have the same crew! Girl, boy, girl, girl! Age span...26 months, 23 months, 34 months. How close are we???

He won the bedhead contest.

Yes, poor Hank and his bedhead.

Erin-- it's a soccer medal his soccer coach gave the kids last spring. It's been by his bed for months but the past few weeks he's wanted to wear it every day.

Laura-- I recently realized the same thing. Mine are 26 months, 36 months (almost to the day), and 46 months. Pretty close!

I think it's official-- you can now remove the "Wannabe" portion of your blog name....I cannot even imagine how you pull this off, but I know you will.
