Ooooh, lets here all the geeky technical specifications!
Uh... I'm little embarrassed that I don't quite know what specifics you mean. I know that it's a 42" DLP technology but beyond that I'd need specifics (questions, that is).Yeah, Joe and I really did our homework. We basically went to Best Buy, pointed to the kind we liked, went home and verified what the salesman told us (i.e. buy a Samsung if you go DLP) and bought.
Hmmmmmmm....DLP??? Was ist das?Does that mean high definition?I will have to stop by and check it out
Eeek! How does this fit in with "brain exercise"?
Eeek! How does this fit in with "brain exercise"?LOL. It doesn't. Not in the least. Thankfully there aren't THAT many shows we like so we're able to spend most evenings following other pursuits. But for the times we want to watch it, well, I'm not going to lie, it's really nice.
DLP= digital light processing. I guess there's a big light bulb in the back of the TV that projects onto glass (the screen). Yes, it's high definition. It's a new flatscreen technology that's a lot cheaper than plasma and LCD and some even think it's better.
Can I come watch? What an awesome tv!
Samsung is considered the best. What is the resolution?
Oooooo awesome. Congrats on the new addition!
