Movie Review, II

For last Friday night's entertainment Superdad came home with The Departed, which won the 2006 Academy Award for Best Picture.

We both expected to like it, but neither of us expected to love it. The movie was extremely violent and the language extremely salty, two criteria that don't usually attract me to a movie, but in the closing minutes of the film I found myself not wanting the movie to end.

The acting was fantastic and the movie was constantly moving, the story regularly changing and the characters continuously keeping you guessing (Is he a good guy? A mole?)

I loved it. The plot was great, the storyline was full of unexpected twists and the acting was fantastic.

Added bonus: who would have thought this guy could act?

Learn to capitalize ordinarydad.

On another note, it is funny because I was just going out to rent this before I read your blog!

Is that MY ordinarydad up there? LOL! He would KNOW the plot if he would've consented to a movie rental last weekend as well!!!

Thanks for your review! I do like potty mouth movies, but not violent ones. If YOU like it, I guess I can watch it too.

Of course, this is from the girl with whom I've watched "Clueless" an indefinite amount of times...
