Some flowers arrived for me yesterday. Not in the traditional sense, but in pictures. What a bright spot in a dreary day.
I fell in love with the Smith and Hawken Flowers Calendar in 2006. The following year I test drove their Secret Garden Calendar and that, too, kept gorgeous, blooming flowers in my kitchen all year long.
And now I'm back to the Flowers Calendar. My favorite. Isn't it lovely?

Thanks for the tip Cait! I can't believe they're out already! I will have to order once the big move is completed.
Any more updates on the basement?? That sounds horrible! I hope they show up to get it figured out soon!
what's the name of the weed in the left column, the column with the partial wraparound text?
That's a lupine flower, isn't it? A skinny one, but still, looks like lupine.
Smith & Hawken and White Flower Farm (the latter in CT) are two places that kept me alive as a gardner. At least before The Flower Box opened outside Madison. They present beautiful plants and flowers as if it were the easiest thing in the world to produce your own. Absolutely inspiring.
The calendar is lovely.
Gee darn. And I need a new calendar too :)
I can't decide if this makes me laugh at your cute-cheesiness, or if I want one. ;)
