Happy Birthday, Mom

Today is my mom's birthday. She would be sixty-two years old today and in her honor the kids and I will make Junket today.

Here she is at our village's Independence Day Parade the year she died.

I still miss her a ton and would love to wish her birthday wishes in person and host the birthday celebration I'd most certainly be planning were she here. But, since I can't, this is almost the next best thing.

Happy birthday, Mom!

Another sad anniversary. Hard to believe it's two years already. We ALL miss her!

She would have indirect comments on the wine, dinner and presents and we would get the point. The wine would be fine, the dinner superb and the presents no more nor less than she expected. Then we (the 8 to 16 of us around your table) would go for a walk along the quiet streets of Whitefish Bay. Hope you get out for a walk tonight. Love, as always.

I know what a difficult day this is for you and know that you are in my thoughts. I don't think it ever gets easier, the missing of a parent, but I love how you keep her spirit alive.
Happy Birthday, Jeffie.

Love ya Cait, ((hugs))

:( What a pretty lady she was. She looks so happy and full of life, too. (((hugs))) to you, Cait, and your dad, too.
