What is going on with all the spam in my comments? What good is word verification if the spammers can easily circumvent it? Any advice from those more knowledgeable than I?

I'm not that knowledgeable about spam, but I have my profile set so that "show my blogs" does is not clicked. That means, as a result, it doesn't show up when people click on my profile, but it also means random people can really only access my blog if by some chance they click "next blog" at the top of blogger. I want to say there's another place you can check to make it unsearchable in google, but I can't remember where that is off-hand. Sorry you're having so much trouble!
