Hm. Just a week ago my kids were watching TV and playing down here. I'm still feeling very whiney and sorry for myself.
By the way, we would NOT have gotten to this point without all the help we've received. Thank you to parents helping haul out garbage, tearing down paneling and doing our laundry. Thank you neighbors for allowing us to use your washing machines and offering up a beer when needed.

Have you considered renting or buying a dehumidifier? Will really help suck the moisture out.
Hey Alex, we've got one running. Between that, the fans, the A/C the moisture was pretty much gone within a day or two.
The other thing that helped was getting all of the drenched stuff out of the basement quickly.
I am upset about out house and then I run into someone who had 7 or 10 feet of water in their house and I feel like a whiner..
We had a lot of work to do and thankfully a lot of help to get it done. Thanks everyone.
