Funny kid quotes from yesterday and today

* After observing Hank crumbling up goldfish crackers and sprinkling them on his waffles I asked him what he was doing. His response? "What, Mom! I'm trying new things!"

* I was telling Joe a story about a friend who was interested in buying a microdermabrasion cream and concluded that I wasn't going to buy it for various reasons. From the other side of the table Madeleine said, in all seriousness, "Mom, you'll regret not buying it when you're a wrinkled old prune."

* Today Hank was going over his bike ramp and hit his, erm, nether regions a little harder than expected. His immediate comment, "OW! My crouch!"

More Humor at Favre's Expense

Sorry for more Favre stuff, but this is even funnier than last night's clip. Double click it to go to YouTube so you can see it full screen and read the subtitles; I don't know why it's cropped on my blog, but it is.

"He's Coming Back"

Oh my goodness; the pirate at the end? With the lanterns? I'm laughing so hard it might actually induce labor.

Lutheran Humor

So two Saturdays ago (the Saturday before Easter) Hank ran up to Joe with the following realization, "Dad! Tomorrow we can say the 'a' word again!!!!!"

Joe looked at me with an alarmed look on his face.

"Relax," I laughed. "He's talking about the 'a' word in the liturgy, not the 'a' word."

"If you don't vote, you're a moron"

One of the few election videos you really should watch. Those if you with kids nearby, there are a few colorful words, but man, this clip is really, really funny.

Election Humor

This is not as funny as it could have been but, still, worth more than just a few chuckles.

Joke

Time to lighten things up; there are too many life-altering decisions on my plate right now. I need to laugh. I need some frivolity.

Last night Madeleine and her friend B____ spent the entire ride home from church practicing a joke they wanted to recite over the loudspeaker during their school's afternoon announcements (a daily event).

Madeleine: B____, what kind of bow is impossible to tie?

B____: Gee, Madeleine, I don't know! What kind is it?

Madeleine: A RAIN-bow.

Both collapsed into fits of giggles for a minimum of a few blocks. Then they were all seriousness and worked on their oration once again.

And did they perform this afternoon? Nope. They forgot to tell their teachers they had a joke planned. *Sigh.*

Chad Vadar

This is not the sort of thing I typically post, but this is just too funny not to share.
