It seems entirely possible I was being way too generous in suggesting that Jessica Simpson and John Mayer's relationship might make it 'til New Years 2007.
Seems they're already cooling off.

It is SHOCKING that the Simpsons continue to have problems with relationships... just SHOCKING. :) She is such a serious and level headed gal...
(although, I must admit, I don't get what everyone loves about JOHN MAYER... I think the guy is weird.)
