Notice anything different between the pictures in this post and the picture below, taken today?
Let me tell ya, I'm not loving having my kitchen be off limits. No siree, I'm sure not.
And not only is my kitchen off limits, but my living room has been swallowed by flooring supplies and power tools (and apparently my childrens' cast off coats too, but you weren't looking at those, right?).
I'll give you more specifics as work progresses, but more observant readers will probably be able to conjecture what's being put in the old floor's place by using picture clues...

Oooh. Lucky you! Is that real wood? Are you doing it yourself? Yay!
I can't wait to see the finished floor, I bet it will look great!
Oh my, I'm not really looking forward to these days, yet I am. We'll see. If you have a good experience, I might look forward to mine more!
Thanks for keeping up with my at my blog, Cait :)
wow! that is quite a project - is super dad doing it? Mike has never seemed to get the hang of those kind of projects. I usually end up taking the laboring oar... wait, maybe that is his plan all along!
I am not doing it. In all seriousness, I think I could (with my brother's help - he is a carpenter) but I don't have the time. When we first moved I (with my brother and dad’s help) took out the original front door and existing frame and reframed and hung a new door. That went pretty well. And Supermom has mastered painting. So were fairly handy just time poor.
